Service Technician

Job Description

 
The Service Technician will be responsible for ensuring vacant apartments are prepared for move-in and assisting with the overflow of maintenance requests when needed.
 

Qualifications

 
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required
  • Experience as a Service Technician required
  • Bi-lingual preferred
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • EPA Certification preferred
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work a varied schedule that may include working overtime, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid US driver’s license and reliable transportation

Position Requirements (including but not limited to)

 
  • Prepare vacant apartments for new resident move-ins by completing any necessary repairs or replacements, performing any necessary paint including full paint, color changes, and touch-ups, and removing any trash left behind
  • Working knowledge of paint sprayers
  • Coordinate with Lead Maintenance Technician to prioritize daily tasks and ensure the smooth flow of the make-ready process
  • Perform preventative maintenance and ensure upkeep of community appearance
  • Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, distribution of notices, and perform any additional duties assigned by Service Manager or Property Manager
  • Ensure service requests are completed, and closed in a timely manner (48 hour turn around preferred)
