The Service Technician will be responsible for ensuring vacant apartments are prepared for move-in and assisting with the overflow of maintenance requests when needed.
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required
Experience as a Service Technician required
Professional appearance and attitude
EPA Certification preferred
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work a varied schedule that may include working overtime, weekends, and holidays
Valid US driver’s license and reliable transportation
Position Requirements (including but not limited to)
Prepare vacant apartments for new resident move-ins by completing any necessary repairs or replacements, performing any necessary paint including full paint, color changes, and touch-ups, and removing any trash left behind
Working knowledge of paint sprayers
Coordinate with Lead Maintenance Technician to prioritize daily tasks and ensure the smooth flow of the make-ready process
Perform preventative maintenance and ensure upkeep of community appearance
Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, distribution of notices, and perform any additional duties assigned by Service Manager or Property Manager
Ensure service requests are completed, and closed in a timely manner (48 hour turn around preferred)
