The Service Technician will be responsible for ensuring vacant apartments are prepared for move-in and assisting with the overflow of maintenance requests when needed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required
Experience as a Service Technician required
Bi-lingual preferred
Professional appearance and attitude
EPA Certification preferred
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work a varied schedule that may include working overtime, weekends, and holidays
Valid US driver’s license and reliable transportation
Position Requirements
- Prepare vacant apartments for new resident move-ins by completing any necessary repairs or replacements, performing any necessary paint including full paint, color changes, and touch-ups, and removing any trash left behind
- Working knowledge of paint sprayers
- Coordinate with Lead Maintenance Technician to prioritize daily tasks and ensure the smooth flow of the make-ready process
- Perform preventative maintenance and ensure upkeep of community appearance
- Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, distribution of notices, and perform any additional duties assigned by Service Manager or Property Manager
- Ensure service requests are completed, and closed in a timely manner (48 hour turn around preferred)
